Regional Sales Manager- Gas Transmission

Position Overview: Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all sales and
technical activities related to the actuator products from the
initial design to the sell and to maintain/coordinate all programs
associated with the end user.

Key Accountabilities:
- Establish sales objectives by accurately forecasting and developing monthly sales
quotas; project expected sales volume for existing and new products by revenue stream
- Prepare quotations with back-up support from sites
- Expected annual order will be $2-3 million USD
- Plan to achieve results at the revenue stream, market, territory and account levels
- Develop account strategies to support and attain quota in territory
- Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future
- Build a customer centric orientation and drives consistent high loyalty ratings

- Maintain company values and demands the highest standards of conduct

- Extensive travel required

- Understands the market, the customer and the competition

- Review proposed engineering schematics submitted to and by customers for proposed
jobs to determine correct control system function for the customer and to
determine pricing

- All other duties assigned by supervisor

Required Education, knowledge, skills and abilities:
- BS Mechanical Engineering required
- Minimum 8-10 yrs. in the natural gas industry
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent and persuasive oral and written communication skills
- Must posses a high level of maturity and exercise sound judgment
- Effectively handle multiple priorities and have action and results oriented closing
techniques
- Extensive experience in account management, renewal sales, consultative selling,
managing sales cycles and maintaining client relationships
- History of closing business and building long term relationships (consistently
meeting and/or exceeding quota)
- High energy, self-motivated and persistent
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management
skills and ability to work with minimal supervision essential
- Coordinates all sales and marketing activities to recommend an acceptable selling
price and authorize submissions of price quotes to customers
- Extensive product training would be provided in Edmonton, Canada, Mansfield, OH
and Waller, TX
- Develop and recommend specific sales & marketing objectives and forecast for each
account assigned. Manage the execution of the sales plan & marketing programs to
achieve or exceed goal
